"In response to the financial struggles Americans were facing, the government raised taxes on the middle class to fund a public works program meant to put the 8.2% unemployed to work constructing new ports and roads, while tax breaks on corporations increased, stimulating investment in new sectors and generating more capital. After _ years of doing this, sufficient capital had been flowing through the banks and confidence had been restored in the economy. -So I have been spending my night reading through the Tea Party Movement's Pledge to America and found proposals I like. But As well, I looked through the Occupy movement's 99 Percent Declaration, and it has its own gems. Yet both have proposals that risk unbalancing the delicate equilibrium between government and corporation that holds up this country.
